Packaging Creative Artworker

Creative agency based in Cheshire is looking for a Creative Artworker with in-depth packaging experience to join their expanding studio team! This role is based on-site, full-time. A great opportunity to work on some well-known brands with some fantastic client accounts! You must have agency experience working in a fast-paced environment, and it is essential that you have excellent print production experience working on packaging projects for a range of clients. It is essential that you can get packaging to print ready stage with cutter guides, barcodes, bleed and colour management. This role also requires someone with an eye for layout and some creative input. You will need a strong portfolio full of packaging samples. The ability to follow strict brand guidelines is key for this role. You must have excellent attention to detail, be able to hit deadlines and be familiar with the approval/amendment process. Junior Packaging Artworker

An established organisation based in Manchester city centre is looking to recruit a Junior Artworker for its in-house studio team. On a day-to-day basis your role will involve creating artwork for a whole host of packaging ranges. Projects will involve applying correct pack copy to designs, generating barcode labels, preparing artwork ready files for print, creating cutter guides and ensuring all files are organised & stored correctly. Previous packaging experience is essential to fulfil this role. It would suit someone who has come from a fast-paced FMCG background. Other projects will include catalogue and promotional material. You will be working across a variety of brands on a whole range of different packaging projects. This company covers a big mixture of sectors including gardening, household, automotive, DIY, stationery, cosmetics and sports aids. This is a fast-paced environment, so excellent attention to detail and a the ability to hit deadlines is key. You will need to have a high level of skill using Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, along with a sound knowledge of artworking. You will also be adhering to brand guidelines and you will need experience of producing cutter guides, creating mock-ups and manipulating images. Artworker

Well established organisation based in Macclesfield are looking for an Artworker to join their team! You will mainly be working on catalogues, monthly promotional magazines and brochures on a day-to-day basis. Other projects may include web banners and packaging. It is essential that you have a good understanding of the Artwork and print production process. Attention to detail and being able to follow brand guidelines are also key. InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are the main skill sets. They also have a large image library which will need updating and maintaining. Any additional skills in data merging using Excel spreadsheets is a bonus (but not essential). You will need excellent communication skills and have a good understanding of typography, space and layout. Great opportunity to join an established company who offer great benefits!
