Head of Operations / Operations Manager

Independent, creative agency based in the NQ of Manchester's city centre is looking for a Head of Operations / Operations Manager to join their team on-site. An immediate start is available for the right person! (They will also be open to applicants notice periods). Excellent communication & organisational skills are key to this role, as you will be liaising with the designers, artworkers, account managers, the MD, Ops Director and external suppliers. Your role will be to implement new systems, streamline & manage the workflow process, prioritise projects, plan the schedules out, source extra resources and make sure everything is on-time, on-brief and on-budget. Ideally you will have a large agency background and will be looking for a challenge. This is a new role for the agency, so you will be able to progress & develop with the agency as the team grows. Projects will be varied covering both print & digital across a number of different sectors. Working in a busy studio environment, no two days will ever be the same! Junior Packaging Artworker

An established organisation based in Manchester city centre is looking to recruit a Junior Packaging Artworker for its in-house studio team. On a day-to-day basis your role will involve creating artwork for a whole host of packaging ranges. Projects will involve applying correct pack copy to designs, generating barcode labels, preparing artwork ready files for print, creating cutter guides and ensuring all files are organised & stored correctly. Previous packaging experience is essential to fulfil this role. It would suit someone who has come from a fast paced FMCG background. Other projects will include catalogue and promotional material. You will be working across a variety of brands on a whole range of different packaging projects. This company covers a big mixture of sectors including gardening, household, automotive, DIY, stationery, cosmetics and sports aids. This is a fast paced environment, so excellent attention to detail and a the ability to hit deadlines is key. You will need to have a high level of skill using Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, along with a sound knowledge of artworking. You will also be adhering to brand guidelines and you will need experience of producing cutter guides, creating mock-ups and manipulating images. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly company that has a real family feel to it. Fantastic location in the NQ and a great building with original features!
