Hi, I'm Kim! I work as part of the Manchester team and I look after all things Freelance in the North. I have been part of the become family for almost 7 years now!
I actually come from a creative background myself so I always find it rewarding when I am able to help a client with a particularly challenging freelance brief. Whether it's a complex digital design project or a fast turn around creative concept I love finding the right person for the job!
It might sound like a cliché but everyday is different within my role, I deal with some of the North's
biggest design and advertising agencies.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time spoiling my gorgeous baby boy! You might see us out and about at swimming classes, baby massage, baby yoga ... you name it, he's done it!
In my spare time I love to bake and recently made a friends wedding cake.
Some things I like - Breakfast at Tiffany's, French Martini's, Carrot cake, Elbow (the band that is!) and swimming.
A few of my pet hates - Banana's, people who walk slow, football and the smell of porridge
We are currently on the look out for an experienced Freelance Traffic / Studio Manager to support one of our clients layout teams. Ideally this role would be starting around the first week in Feb. On site work is essential! Key responsibilities will include: · Queue management of layout/artwork · Vetting all layout briefs to ensure the correct information has been given and the brief is clear · Ensuring the overall delivery of all layout projects to a consistently high standard, on time and within budget · Selecting the right resource for each project · Briefing in-house team members and freelancers · Enhancing briefs for outsourcing to third party vendors and ensuring QC review of returned products. · Forecasting with Operations and the wider agency to ensure that we can adapt our resource accordingly · Have artworking skills to carry out amends (advanced in InDesign and Illustrator).
