Award winning PR agency based in central Manchester is looking for a B2B Account Manager who has traditional PR experience (not Digital). Hybrid working.
You will need 6 years+ previous agency experience within a PR environment, working on Business & Corporate client accounts. Sectors include some of the following... built, manufacturing, construction, tech, property and engineering.
You'll be managing a large portfolio of clients producing press releases, long form thought pieces and blogs (a little bit of social too). You'll need excellent media relations and be able to pick up the phone to engage with your media contacts.
Your role will involve creating a variety of content that meets client expectations and tone-of-voice.
Part of your role will be to coach, guide and mentor junior members of the team, helping to nurture talent in the content creation process. Excellent communications skills are essential.
Being a key point of contact with clients, you will be involved with planning campaigns, managing support teams from across the agency, leading on the production of impact reports, utilising insights, managing briefs and ensuring deadlines and timelines are adhered to.
Key skills for this role include excellent knowledge and understanding of all types of traditional PR media. You will need a strong understanding of how to create and execute a channel-neutral content strategy.
