Shillington are a specialist design education organisation. The become Group works closely with them in many of our locations, including Manchester, London, Sydney and Melbourne.
Each year the become team identify star students whose work really stands out - then we get them registered with us here at become and help them to find their first jobs in the competitive design industry.
Cultivating relationships between our recruiters in Manchester and Shillington has led to much success, helping to find students both permanent and freelance roles, as well as placing a lecturer in the organisation itself!
Late last year, Tom and Ruby from the become Manchester team carried out portfolio and interview advice sessions for the students during an afternoon at Shillington HQ. Followed by attending their end of year show at Foundation Coffee House in Manchester’s NQ on December 13th. Shillington’s graduate exhibitions provide a great opportunity to mix and mingle with graduates, teachers and staff as well as view the portfolios of the latest graduating class.
