The company follow agile principles and have a keen focus on ensuring our technical infrastructure enables our teams to perform to their best. They will, of course, provide full training on their quality management and wider working practices. You will be delivering complex technical work to the client. All work is PHP based so you will be building or migrating from scratch, so experience building modules from scratch is a must. Being a senior mentoring less senior developers will part of the role. This role would suit a pragmatic Angelist
o Work under the direction of a Technical Lead, and alongside other developers, to produce solutions in line with defined requirements.
o Ensure the technical quality and consistency of developments that you produce, in terms of the key areas: Security, Maintainability, and Performance.
o Solve challenging problems, using an extensive understanding of Drupal’s architecture, APIs and custom module development.
o Guide and mentor less-experienced developers, working effectively as a team.
o Constantly improve, to keep pace with new innovations and technologies.
o A skilled developer - demonstrating excellent PHP coding abilities and an
o Must have a knowledge of Drupal 7 & 8
understanding of the advantages of producing clean, maintainable code.
o Experienced - with a proven track record developing Drupal websites.
o Familiar with common security vulnerabilities and using Drupal’s APIs to prevent malicious attacks.
o Meticulous - with high attention to detail.
o A good communicator - to translate technical solutions to varied internal audiences.
o Well-organised - to manage tasks and time efficiently.
o Ambitious - coming to work to make a difference.
o Experience of code-driven development (Drupal 7 features-based development workflow and Drupal 8 configuration management system).
o Experience with other modern PHP frameworks (e.g. Symfony, Laravel).
o Familiarity with Drush and Git workflows.
o Knowledge and experience of automated testing.
o An active interest in contributing to the Drupal community.
