As a QA Tester, you will lead and continually develop the software testing process for the company projects. After testing, you will continually monitor performance, to prevent potential reoccurrence and to ensure efficient operation.
The company follow agile principles and have a keen focus on ensuring our technical infrastructure enables our teams to perform to their best. We will, of course, provide full training on our quality management and wider working practices.
oDefine and create test methods for new or updated software projects, to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably under both normal and abnormal conditions.
oContribute to developing policies and standard operating procedures, as needed, to effectively execute the principles and responsibilities of software testing.
oAssure that output from the software development process includes adequate identification and interpretation of product requirements, such as a) traceability requirements, b) test requirements, c) usability, etc.
oReview product design documentation, to ensure that requirements are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.
oAssist in generation of use cases, to ensure that all functional requirements of a system are captured during the product design phase.
oConsult with product development, to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of overall system.
oMaintain effective communication regarding project limitation, capability, performance requirement and hardware interface changes.
oConduct compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs.
oFormulate and design software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
oA strong communicator - dealing with developers and designers.
oExperienced - with at least 2 years of related experience in Software Quality Assurance.
oMeticulous - with great attention to detail.
oForward-thinking - recommending improvements and corrections throughout each development process.
o Practical exposure to working in an Agile Software Development environment.
o Experience of automated testing (i.e. as a Ghost Inspector)
o A Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or information technology.
o Knowledge of issue tracking products, such as JIRA.
o Working with external customers.
