Our client is a global leader in designing and manufacturing specialist consumer goods- after a busy start to 2021, they are expanding their design team and looking for a talented midweight with experience in packaging to join their creative studio.
This is an exciting role which would suit an ambitious designer, looking for a progressive step in their career within a collaborative environment. Due to the fast paced nature of the role, you will be called upon to get involved with all parts of the creative process from inception through to final production. The successful candidate will be primed to head up their own brand and taking leadership of their category.
You will also be responsible for design and production of innovative packaging for both in house and licensed products. This will involve brand creation and style guide development, driving creative ideas for packaging solutions, answering to live briefs in accordance to look, feel, user experience and marketing position through to artwork for print, digital assets, events and exhibitions.
We are looking for a diligent and well organised creative with at least 3 years agency experience, impeccable communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in accordance to deadlines and project briefs. Good illustration skills are highly desirable to show idea generation! You must have experience in packaging design, ideally for on shelf retail – and have a strong desire to make an impactful contribution to the team and creative process.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and a portfolio showcasing a strong affinity for commercial design is a must.
