You will be managing a medium sized design team and your duties will include... motivating & inspiring the team, recruiting when required, booking freelancers during busy periods, delegating projects, overseeing the work leaving the studio and making sure that deadlines are adhered to. Previous man management experience is essential for this role.
It would be beneficial if you have a background in retail packaging and product design, along with branding & FMCG experience.
Hands-on InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop skills are essential, along with sound knowledge of the print process and experience of licensed ranges.
Excellent communications skills are key to this role as you will be liaising with other internal departments, external suppliers and freelancers as well as the internal design team.
Strong organisational skills are also important to this role as this is a fast paced environment with strict deadlines for multiple projects.
